Chapter 8 is the 8th chapter in the The Epic of Zektbach.
Story[1][]
The characters released from the curse face against one man. One who has been immortal for well over 600 years. With a look of nostalgia, A'milia looks at the face of the person who once tried to kill her as an ominous being. The man that understood everything and manipulated the world.
To know the truth, to earn its rightful place and break free from the inescapable curse, in his heart it is all for her to smile gently at him. On the island of L'avide, at A'milia's hand, he loses his immortality and ages in the blink of an eye. However, his face is completely peaceful.
Then the party heads to the Skyship ruins. As they advance into its increasingly complex structure, the various truths of the world become clear. In the deepest part, there lies the figure of the red angel.
Tomosuke's Commentary[1][]
Even though Gijiri is a person who pursed the truth, he is unable to reach the answer on what L'erisia is. He was unable to become a transcendental being like Lien or Nox Matin. He years for death and met his peaceful end on A'milia's hand.
After that is the showdown with L'erisia. RPG wise, it is like forming a party centered on A'milia, Shamshir, Nox & Matin that has become one, and charge into the last dungeon called 'Skyship ruins'.
At the end, L'Erisia is completely annihilated, however in counterbalance, A'milia is also annihilated. Like offsetting each other, the two disappear at the same time and various images of scenery scatter like flashes on the surroundings.
If the impact of the two notions given util now is gone, what will become of the remaining humanity? Is getting rid of 'meme' the right thing?
